I have an 11 yr old female GSD that I'm concerned about her having this disease. She is one of my Service Dogs . Over the last year she's been showing more and more different symptoms. She's had slight bladder leakage while sleeping for years due to over stretching of her hind legs during her spay procedure as a puppy. It only happens when she's sleeping and doesn't matter where she is. She has developed tremor in her hind left leg when sleeping which has started to happen in her right hind leg as well with increased occurrences. She developed greater thirst and heavy panting when laying down in our bed. I've put a water bowl at the foot of the bed on top of a foot locker but she'll rarely drink out of it. I'm constantly battling yeast infections with her, in her ears, her belly and vaginal area. She is constantly scratching and itchy, she's been consistently losing fur on her belly. She has bad arthritis of the spine too.
